I compared it to my Astrox 99 play and the muscle power 5 definitely feels heavier everywhere. But the factory strings are good enough to practice with. It didn't feel like my wrist was gonna break so that was good. I think that the added weight is good for beginners because they can really feel each stroke and how the force is being transmitted from body to arms to head of racquet.
