Table Tennis Blades
The blade is the wooden frame a table tennis racket is built on. You buy it once and keep it, and replace the rubbers as they wear.
First choose the construction: an all-wood blade gives more feel and is the usual choice while you are developing your strokes, and a carbon or composite blade is stiffer and faster. Then choose the style: allround blades favour control, offensive blades favour speed. Handles come flared (FL), straight (ST) or anatomic (AN), so pick the one that feels comfortable. Each product page shows where the blade sits on these scales.
