The GEL-RESOLUTION™ X (10) tennis shoe creates advanced comfort for players who like to control the game from the baseline.
DYNAWALL™ technology in the midsole now extends into the heel for added stability during lateral movements. It’s a functional feature that’s effective when you’re running covering both sides of the baseline.
DYNALACING™ technology has been strategically designed to hold when extra support is needed. This allows you to experience a locked-in feel when you’re making quick transitions. There’s also a two-piece midsole design that helps improve stability when your foot lands on the court.
Lastly, the higher medial collar helps prevent ankle twisting when making abrupt cuts back and forth.

At first try, the shoes fit well, and after having worn them in the shop for fifteen minutes or so, I bought them.
I didn't hesitate because my last four pairs ASICs are all great and all purchased from your store, but now unfortunately, I do regret having bought them for the following problems:
- The cushion of the heel is not as soft as it should be. As a result, the heel on my right foot has become inflamed and I had to cancel a tennis match today. I have now added a silicone pad inside the heel hoping that it will solve both this problem and the next one regarding the height of the inside wall of the shoe opening;
- The wall on the inside opening of the shoe is higher than the outside one, and is too high such that it scraps against the underside of the projection of my ankle. This is particularly annoying because sometimes the clay from the courts gets caught between the top of the cushion of the shoe and my ankle, causing a burn type wound;
- the shoe is tighter at the toes (vertically) and pressures my big toe in a way that none of my previous ASICs have;
- the plastic 'shell' does a clicking sound when I walk, because the shell bends before snapping as the foot bends vertically. Very annoying.
I hope that these are just growing pains, and that eventually I will break in the shoes but after having spent over $200, I definitely regret the purchase, since at this point, the shoes are winning and hurting my feet.
