It keeps the sweat from my eyes. The sweat was blinding me half through my ride. It’s very hot and humid in Ontario. Fortunately, my wife is excellent with the sewing machine. She was able to cut and increase the size of the Halo. The “one size fits all” should be “one size fits most”. If they offered bigger sizes, then I would have given the product 5/5.
Je me suis entraînée dehors à 40ºC sans sueur dans mes yeux! Étant très petite, le bandeau n'est pas serré et glisse un peu. J'aime l'imprimé (Veilleuse/Nightlight).
I find the Halo Slim Pullover headband to be very efficient and very absorbant. It fits well and is not to ''invasive''.
I would recommed it to any of my runner friends... :)
Thanks so much! JG
Tried the slim version for the first on a road bike ride up the highway, wanted to sweat to see if the band works, sweat got onto my eyebrows then dripped into my glasses on the side, i would say it didn't work, had more luck with my cotton Nike headband which is a lot thicker, but will give this another try
It’s great although a little tight. Give me a head each after a while. But very effective to not sweat in my glasses
Playing hockey makes you sweat..A LOT!! I've seen guys wear skull caps to combat the sweat getting into your eyes but that wasn't my thing. Plus I think that would make me even sweat more.
I was searching for something about hockey and sweating and came upon a website and thread (sorry I don't remember what it was) and someone had mentioned Halo headbands. I did some more research and read that some guys who used it during hockey under their helmets solved the sweat in eyes problem. So I decided to give it a shot. FINALLY something that's minimal in size yet does a fantastic job by keeping the sweat out of your eyes. Now I can go an hour of playing without taking off my helmet to wipe the sweat off my face and head and concentrate more on the game.
